Sultana Garritanois a Brooklyn-based, multi-disciplinary visual designer. Many of her foundational influences stem from DIY subcultures and histories, politics, and queer nightlife. She creates work that is inspired by community and meaningful connection in an increasingly isolating world.
She finds satisfaction in the collaborative process of building compelling visual narratives for peers and clients, working in a range of esthetic language as a graphic designer, motion designer and illustrator. Previously self-taught, she persued an MFA in Communications design at Pratt Institute.
Outside of freelance work, she is a tattoo artist under the moniker @jacuzzi_queen, co-creator, graphic designer and photographer for Slut Island Festival, and volunteer resident designer for Black Healing Fund.
